A Blaze In The Northern Sky

Lotsa black and whites here. I have been putting off scanning in photos for a while so I have stacks and stacks waiting to be posted and they wont be showing up on here in any discernable order. These were all printed for free on the Fujifilm print kiosk at my dad's place of employment.

Oregon:
Every morning when I woke up I would walk down through this dense wooded hill at the back of my yard and into a little valley with a stream that led to a 30-40 foot waterfall and sit at the top of the falls for a couple of hours. It was the perfect way to start a day. Sometimes I brought my cameras but usually it was too frustrating because I could never take pictures that could really show how it felt to be out there. These are a couple of the attempts that came out the best, still not at all close to capturing the sheer perfection that I felt.
These next three are from a hike I took up near Fairy Falls in the Colombia River Gorge. I really love the one of the tree, it looks so peaceful and stately standing tall at the edge of the cliff.

This was my driveway. Why did I leave?
Least Coast:
These are a mis-mosh of pictures from this past Christmas when I was home in NJ.
